I had my servie for about a year before I deiced to move. I called the move specialist and was told that the apartment complex I was moving to was serviced by Spectrum. I asked if I canceled my service how much would the ETF and can it be waived. I was told that because I wasm oving to an area that was no serviced by Xfinity that I can have the ETF wavied. A few days later I also called billing to make sure this was true and was advised that an wavied was placed on my account. About a week or two ago I recieved an email about an ETF, I used the customer service chat to see why I was being charged after I was told that the fee was going to be wavied. The person I talked to told me not to worry about the bill because it has not be updated yet and that I will recieve a final bill.( see attachment) Well since I had automatic payments, two days ago the money was taken out of my account. I tried calling billing and now I am being told that the ETF is legitimate after they took out the money.
