I am trying to figure out the best way to do this. the rates offered to new customers for just internet are apparently unobtanable for existing customers. we no longer watch TV, and have no use for it.

Please let us know if you were successful. I'm in the same boat and I've tried everything I could think of. I'm tired of being lied to by reps and listening to the tone of voice from customer service personnel that makes it feel that you're unwanted.
i called earlier and they told me to keep my 250mbps speed i have with my double play it would be $97 a month.... get out. ATT fiber here i come.
