Downgrade to Internet Only

I have been a customer for years and have had several different packages to save money. The most recent plan has just expired. My bill is now $250 and is just too expensive, Can I downgrade to internet only as we do not need all the channels you offer? The local Infinity store said $104 but I see that on the forum Customer Service is suggesting Performance Internet for around $30-35/mo. Looking to do this around 8/1.
