Damaged Sprinklers

On February 7th Comcast dug up my swale lawn  to install cables. In the process they teared up the sprinklers along the swail. I reported it the very next day, and have a ticket number for the job. I was told that in 72 hours I would be contacted. It has been 6 days and 3 calls to 800# but no reply yet from Comcast. I am getting the run around and need to have management address this.

Re: Damaged Sprinklers

It has been a month since I reported this situation and ZERO response, what can I do to get this problem resolved?

My lawn is a mess, what poor service and attention to paying customers.

Did you send the information by Private Message to @ComcastAmir as requested?

Re: Damaged Sprinklers

Hi enriqwe11301 -- We responded to your damage claim request. We had sent someone out to your location to make a repair. Per your PM, this has not been fully repaired. I have contacted our local team to alert them that this has not been fully resolved. I have requested that they contact you at the number you've requested so that we can setup a time to come by when you're available.

Re: Damaged Sprinklers

Do you consider plugging up 1 of the 5- 6 broken sprinklers or line (I don't know which since you never checked) and throwing sod (that has died since) responding?

Wow.

Re: Damaged Sprinklers

enriqwe11301 -- You had said in your last post that you had reported this situation with zero response. That statement would not be true as we've contacted you here with a response, our local team contacted you with a response, and we sent someone out to make a repair.

I would consider plugging up 1 of 5 sprinklers and throwing sod over an incomplete repair. This is why I alerted our local team that this repair has not been fully completed. Our local teams have now left voice mails on both of your contact numbers and have sent an email to your comcast.net email address. They have not gotten a response back from you as of yet.

Re: Damaged Sprinklers

You consider plugging 1 sprinkler a response or action?

BTW - When  you came out to "respond" I was at work and my wife asked that before you left to let her know so she could turn on the sprinklers and make sure all damaged were working, reply was yes but then left after justt plugging 1 sprinkler.

Oh and when she offered them water they said, no thanks but beers would be better....excuse me?!

I was away from my phone when the call came in and have already called back and left a vm.

My only objective here is to have my property repaired to where it was before you tore it up.

Re: Damaged Sprinklers

enriqwe11301 -- As mentioned, plugging 1 of 5 sprinklers is considered an incomplete job. Your post had said that you had received zero response which indicated that no one had responded in any capacity to your damage claim. I was clearing that up by saying that we've been in contact with you regarding this. As mentioned, our local has been trying to contact you since yesterday so that we can get this matter resolved.

Re: Damaged Sprinklers

Friday around 5pm repairmen came, I stayed with them to identify  what was the problem. An incorrect initial repair by them had cut off supply from a spinkler line. This was repaired correctly and now have all sprinklers working.

Thank you.
