Customer Loyality/ Retention

When I relocated my family a over a year ago, the place we moved into offered Comcast base TV as part of rent. So we signed up for internet and such through comcast. Now the bill is more expensive than it would be if we change to VERIZON and get the same package plus TV. I was told to call customer loyality between 9-5 pm. I did but guess what? I work too and cant sit on the phone that long. Is anyone here able to help me or should i just jump to Verizon like I had for many years prior to the move.
