Comcast does not offer Performance Starter for existing customers

Hi,

 

I had been enrolled in the Performance Starter Internet service through last year and recently moved to Internet Plus. However, I just realized that I am paying $15 for broadcast fee and other taxes for cable TV, which we are not watching. I called customer service and asked them to move me back to Performance Starter and they told me that this plan is not available for me. The only pure internet plan they can offer me was Blast, which is more expensive than Internet Plus, and I do not need faster internet. So if I cancel my service and restart it, I will be able to enroll Performance Starter for $19.99 a month, but if I renew my service that is not possible. That does not make any sense at all.
