On May 31st, Comcast performed a Hard Pull on my credit report, and my credit score dropped 30 points.
I've had comcast for almost a year to the day into what I believe was a two year contract. I checked my credit report today and it was super low. The only thing that's changed is the number of hard credit inquiries, and Comcast was the one that performed it. Is there any reason this was necessary? I've never missed or been late on a payment, and I've been nursing my credit score for the past few years, and this infuriating.
Does Comcast plan on doing this every year? If so I want to look into closing out my account.
