Cancelling service after rate change

Cancelling service after rate change

When I signed up for my current level of service, the customer support representative told me that I would be notified before my rate changed.  This month I received a bill increase, and got no notice of that.  I'm thinking of cancelling my service as a result, but would likely stay if I could take advantage of the packages available to new customers.  Given the circustances here, is that possible?  If not, how long would I have to wait after cancelling service to be considered a new customer again?

Did you check past bills for a notification?  Was this in direct relation to your bundle rate term?  Did a promotion roll off?  Promotions are typically for 3 or 6 months or 1 year.

Doubtful, because you're not a new customer.

If not, how long would I have to wait after cancelling service to be considered a new customer again?
