Blast to Gigabit

Hello:

If I turn in my Comcast DPC3941T modem, I would be able to upgrade from Blast to Gigabit and pay around the same each month. I do understand that I will need to get a better modem since my backup TP-Link AC1750 is not supported but I do not understand why I may need new wiring (which will require Comcast to come out and pay a technician) when the new wiring is about a year old.

Thanks for your time.

Re: Blast to Gigabit

According to ComcstZach's posing on the forums, my current wiring should be fine so I am going to try and upgrade again.

I did not receive my new modem as of yet, ComcastJeTru, but I noticed I got an email saying my speeds was increased and my TP-Link AC1750's speed test confrms it.
