I am a senior, disabled, limited funds,no tv, cannot afford cable.
Asked Comcast a year ago for lowest price on landline/internet only.
Agreed to pay $49.99 a month promotional discount.
If self installation with my modem did not work, I would have to reschedule.
Agreed to pay for installer who stated I agreed to rent = $10.00 a month and had no choice.
Next - received a tv modem addressed to a former tenant.
Then - Comcast Salesman entered my secured building, knocked on my door, selling "security".
He refused to take the box.
Said take box to local office. I do not drive.
Said give it to Comcast truck driver. Did that.
Billed me every month for TV converter at $2.50 a month?
Without cable was there no better deal for me?
I got my first bill. Difficult to understand and pay gave up getting answers.
A year of Comcast mail with very low bundled prices for new customers is difficult to look at.
No email for answers and gave up on phone calls.
My original $49 99 is actually $69 99 and about to double.
My recent bill states it will increase substantially but not saying how much.
I feel trapped and about to receive a very high bill. How can I get free?
