I have been a loyal Comcast customer for over 10 years. I recently called to downgrade my service to just internet. The deal they offered me was $20 more than the one they offer new customers. $60 sounds better for 75 Mbps than $80 does.
Why does Comcast only offer these good deals to new customers and not loyal ones? I am seriously considering canceling my service completely and going with another service provider if Comcast cannot cut me a better deal.
Hello fidodidojohn, I can look into this for you going forward if you would like. Can you verify your account number, full name, and service address for me? You can do this by clicking my name and clicking private message. Thank you
The deals are bogus and a lure to draw you into a conversation to begin with. Chances are your order wasnt installed according to your phone agreement. This mistake is so consistant that well ITS NOT A MISTAKE. They do it all intentionally banking on you accepting it all afterward because you dont have the patience or time to bring back people to undo it all.. Make customer service next to useless and frustrating and most will just pay rather than go thru the premordial ooze of idiots you must get through to get results. When you finally are sick of draining your bank for a handful of cheesy channels you decide to quit and walla they suddenly have terrific deals and the price will go down..for a short while..but then it all goes WAY back up in under a year and your right back where you were. Meanwhile theyve made bank on balogny.
