Automatic bill payments

Payment date change. I just started my service and I am enrolled in autopay. I called customer service to have the date the payment is to be made changed. I am on social security disability and receive my check on the 3rd of the month. My bill payment is set for the first of the month. I would like to be able to pay my bill when I receive my disability payment. Can someone from corporate office please contact me and explain why this is impossible? When I contacted the local customer service they told me that corporate determines the date autopay is done and that there is nothing that can be done. The manager then rudely refused to give me a phone number to contact the office that determines the autopay and informed me that I would violating my terms of contract if I removed myself from autopay. That I would be charged $100 if I ended automatic bill payments.
