Access to troubleshooting for family member

Need to know how to grant my husband access to our account for troubleshooting, if I'm not at home when the issues occur.  He's not the financial person, so doesn't know where I file the statements, doesn't know how to log in to our account, doesn't know which of my multiple phone numbers are registered to our account or what my mother's maiden name is.  How can he call for troubleshooting without knowing all of this stuff?  Can he get registered with his OWN identifying information, so you can help him when he calls?


As an aside -- why does it still, in this day and age, take 5 minutes for our set-top box to reboot?  My computer can boot up in like 30 seconds...

All you need to do is call and tell the rep you would like to add your husband as an authorized user

PS The STB takes so long to reload because it checks for remote software updates and reloads the guide when it reboots.
