About to have bill go up way too much, tried to renegotiate but no luck.

I have my bill going up after my first year of Xfinity. I like the service and it performs well, but I can't to pay $120 for internet that doesn't perform as fast as it is advertised. I would like to renegotiate to get the same or similiar deal I have now but don't know how to do that. Can someone help me? What is the best course of action? I tried calling and the lady told me basically I had no choice but to pay the higher rate. I said if I have to go somewhere else then I will, but I don't want to.
