About a Comcast Installation...

Hey all, I have a queston I'd like to ask.

So I've recently signed up for Internet-Only service a few days ago and I have an installation schelduled on the 20th of this month. I am renting the house that I'm in currently and no cable has been installed in this house previously..

I am aware that you need to have written consent from the landlord to drill through the walls to run the cable through, but

1) Can a coax cable be ran through a window? Will the installer allow this?

2) If so, do you still have to have written consent from the landlord in order to have cable on the premises at all?

No, the landlord hasn't said yes or no to drilling holes in the wall; I haven't asked. This is just a matter of options period.

I only need one line for my leased modem as I am only getting internet.

No, the coax won’t get ran through a window.

Is this Comcast policy? Outlets must be drilled out and installed across all installations?
