AFNI Collections Ripoff

I received a letter from AFNI, a debt collector stating that I owe an amount for Nov17that is not correct since I notified Comcast to disconnect service on 10/30 as I was moving out of the area. Now I have AFNI reporting a collection account on my credit report and ruining my score? How can this be settled?

Hi @toddreif

I can review your account. However, if you were billed ETF'S and were still in an agreement that had not yet expired before moving outside our service area, the ETF charges would be valid. In order assist you, please send me a private message verifying your first and last name, street address including city state and zip code, and the full account number or phone number associated with your services.

To send a private message click on my name "ComcastChe", then click private message me.
