I just signed up with Xfinity. I purchased my own modem and router. I then signed up for Xfinity Internet. I then activated my internet without any specialists coming to my new apartment.
I have a $59.99 'Professional Install' charge on my first bill. I spoke with several people over the phone at Xfinity and every single one ASSURED me there would be no installation charge. And yet here I am, I was e-mailed my first bill and there is the charge.
I am extremely displeased with this situation and I would very much appreciate a speedy resolution.
