any suggestions, tried normal fixes
I don't know what you call "normal fixes". Channels found in that frequency area can be affected by location of cable-boxes to other devices, appliances, type of lighting used, fans, etc. It could be for either audio or video.
If you already checked cables for loose connections, or faulty cable ends, unstacked any components, and reset all boxes after checking the cables and found "no joy", I would check the lower SD channel for FOX. Is the same problem happening there too? Does the problem occur using Television speakers versus a separate speaker system?
Mine is the same way..its the only channel with out sound called and they said I need new hdmi cord or new box...but it's just one channel
is audio working on smart phone or PC?
I have the same problem with fox news only channel with no audio. Sounds like a Democrat conspiracy.
is this an x1 set top box? sounds like the down button and SAP is checked (remove check).
If you have an X1 box, hit the "A" button on the remote, under troubleshooting hit enter on the RESTART button. The system will restart and this should clear the channel. Alternative method would be to turn off the cable box, remove the power cable for a minute or so, then plug it back in and turn on the box. Like PC's and laptops, the X1 box needs an occasional " reboot ".
