Comcast controls the channel lineup, but the Tivo guide is provided by Tivo. Since Tivo doesn't know what channels you subscribe to / are interested in, it's up to you to customize the guide.
On my Roamio, with the guide on the screen, I press the "A" button to bring up Guide Options. Under Channels, I can select "All", "My Channels", or "Favorites". I selected "My Channels". Then, again with the guide on the screen, I scroll vertically to a channel I want to remove, and then scroll left to the channel number/ID column, and press Select. Then I choose "Remove from Channel List", and press Select to remove that channel from the guide.
This and much more is described in Tivo's "Viewer's Guide", which you can download from https://www.tivo.com/support/how-to.
Hi. My question isn't about the Tivo. My question is where can I get a list of the channels in my 'Standard Double Play' package. I can't find it anywhere on the Xfinity web site. Once I have that, I can edit the Tivo channels to exclude the ones I don't get.
Comcast may have your lineup online at https://www.xfinity.com/support/local-channel-lineup/ or https://www.xfinity.com/learn/channel-lineup, or they may have included it with one of your recent bills. Check https://customer.xfinity.com/.
Service Centers and Xfinity Stores should have printed channel lineups. Check locations and hours at https://www.xfinity.com/support/service-center-locations/ to pick one up, or call Customer Service at 1-800-Comcast and have them send a lineup to you.
Ok, thanks for the info. This one gives appears to give me the channels, but by name instead of number!?!
I guess I'll have to live without the lineup until I can get to the local Service Center.
