A new customer with Comcast/Xfinity and so far not pleased. The only good thing is the remote I can talk into, and now knowing that is a monthly fee I am having second thoughts....The ONLY channel that I watched religiously was ID Channel when I had AT&T. We just moved so thought we would try Xfinity...only to find that they do not have the ID Channel anymore...I mean come on, every hotel in the US carries the ID Channel but Xfinity doesn't? This is ridiculous. I am giving it a few more weeks to finish the year and if there is no change, our business will go elsewhere.
Comcast currently does not have a contract to carry ID.
When I signed up for Comcast/xfinity I didn’t know they had dropped the ID channel. My contract ends on 9/17/2020 and I will definitely be changing providers. I can’t wait until my current contract is done.
I am very disappointed. I signed up for services 2 months ago & was told Comcast was in the process of negotiating their contract with this channel & was assured that when the process was complete, the program tier we purchased would include the Investigation Discovery channel. Now, after looking through the community forums, I'm finding that customers were sold this same bill of useless goods back in 2018. I feel completely duped. C'mon Comcast, what's the deal with ID?? Are we getting it back or not?
