Unavailable channels..a growing list

Per an Xfinity employee on another thread in this forum, WEtv, Investigation Discovery, UP TV and WGN are no longer available... period. Why are these still on the guide, the website, etc giving the clear appearance they are available? Further- when attempting to tune to them, a prompt shows that they need a subscription. How does this not constitute false advertising?!?

Everybody has the same guides, and some are still grandfathered in and receive those channels. You can always make a favorite list or if you have the X1 platform choose category of just the channels you get (Free to Me).

I upgraded to a top tier lineup and lost Investigation Discovery when I booted the new cable box. I went to the store and they said that they are in discussions to get it back. Is it gone forever?
