The Movie Channel (847) Shows Adult films late night?

I’ve had Comcast for years and this eve as we were browsing through options, naked people flickered in front of our eyes, on screen. We don’t subscribe to Adult stations or rent Adult movies, so we’re a bit surprised by the programming. The movies before & after this one (“Head & Breakfast”) are regular PG - R rated, so... Can anyone tell us if this is standard on Channel 847?

Movies with an R rating can contain nudity, and The Movie Channel can show them any time of day. Even PG-13 movies can contain nudity.

Re: The Movie Channel (847) Shows Adult films late night?

Obviously, I’m not referring to simple nudity or I wouldn’t have posted the question. At 50, I’m well aware of TV ratings, thanks. On The Movie Channel (#847, in NorCAL), late at night, they are airing porn and this surprised us, having never seen that on any of the channels we have in our plan. By ‘adult’ and ‘porn,’ I mean that sex is full on in all its various forms; the acting is terrible; the plot, thin, at best. It’s porn. Soft pornography films, which were aired again last night on the same station, at the same time as the night before. So, if anyone can answer my original question, I would appreciate it.

According to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Movie_Channel, they've been airing soft core pornographic films during late night since 2001.
