Sundance Channel has DRM (digital rights management) applied instead of the copy freely flag. I contacted AMC support regarding this, and this was the response:

I have an update for you about your inquiry regarding DRM. Our media manager consulted with an internal contact who understand our rights management policies and they informed me that they see no reason why one of our networks should allow DVR and the other not. At this point it look most likely that there is an issue with the permissions your local Xfinity affiliate has set up in their system currently. Please reach out to Xfinity and let them know of your complaint for further assistance. If you happen to hear them disagreeing with this, or offering any other information, please let us know and we’ll share with the team here too.

Thank you, for verifying your first and last name in our private message. I wanted to come back to the public thread to gather more details about the error you're receiving. Is this a DRM 403-102 error message? Can you please verify the type of device you are using when you receive this error?
I have a cable card installed in a HDHomerun Prime tuner. When scanning channels it shows DRM on the two Sundance channels 165 & 1440. This prevents me from viewing this channel on my computer. I contacted AMC support, they also handle Sundance, they told me there is no reason from their view that this channel should have DRM and the AMC channel doesn't have DRM. Ok, thanks for confirming. In this case, I will need to send a few signals to your cable card to refresh the entitlements to your channels. Is now a good tie to do so?
