Renewed my TV package and lost an important channel

My contract for TV services came up for renewal recently. I went in to the local Xfinity store, spoke with a rep and said that I wanted to keep all of the channels I had on my previous plan but wanted to know if there were any new promotions that might lower my monthly bill. The rep looked me up and said that I could keep everything I had (Internet and TV, plus HBO) and would put me on a new 2-year contract.

All was good until the next day, when I went to watch channel 154 (BBC World News) - a channel I'd watched regularly - and was then shown a screen that said that I could only see it if I subscribed to it. As far as I can tell, this is the only channel I got before that I can't see now. I still have access to BBC America...just not World News.

How do I get that channel back, or was I not told the truth about what was included in my new package (and, if that's the case, what can I do to fix this)?

Please advise - thanks
