NFC game shown is South Florida

NFC games in Fort Myers. Last week I was so looking forward to watching the tampa bay Buccaneers play the reigning superbowl champions Philadelphia Eagles. And the only NFC you chose to show me was GreenBay and Minnesota. WHY? I am only 200 miles from Tampa but 1500 to 1800 miles from the game I was shown.

That’s a question that would go to your local affiliate, Comcast is only passing on what the broadcasters provide.

Do you mean my local Fox affiliate decides what game they show locally?

Yes. See http://506sports.com/nfl.php?yr=2018&wk=3 for this week's schedule.

The Fort Myers Fox affiliate apparently got quite a few complaints about this game, and posted this on Facebook:

"It was a tough call. We looked at past viewership, plus input from NFL and FOX Sports and there’s just simply more local interest in the Vikings-Packers game. We wish we could have aired both!"
