Comcast won't allow cancelation online.
So I called customer service. I went through a long series of menus, then waited for a representative. When I finally get the rep, the rep says he must transfer to customer retention. After another long wait, I finally get the customer retention rep. As soon as I tell him I want to cancel service, he cuts off the line.
Is there a way to cancel service without wasting more time?

Take your equipment to your local comcast store and turn it in and cancel there. Get a receipt and keep it.
