If "Real Time w/ Bill Maher" is live @ 7pm on ch. 550 (pacific time)

why is broadcasted in standard definition in Seattle?

tune to that channel live. is it in HD? is this a series recording? if so using the guide go to the next showing and select options, all episodes. under channels what is shown?

Channel 550 is not an HD channel, ch. 551 is the HD version of it

but if Real Time Live is "live" at 7pm in CA, why is it not broadcasted

in HD (in WA) until 10pm on ch. 551? it doesnt make sense...

550 is the East Coast SD Feed
551 is the Pacific SD Feed
There’s a time difference with the 2.

There isn’t an HD east coast feed in your market. You have HBO Pacific HD (549) or HBO2 HD (543)

So there is a 3 hour time delay of Real Time "Live"

on the west coast?

Yes any of the other feeds Pacific, West Coast are replays of the east coast feed
