I was not aware of the on demand preview of cinemax until Saturday. It should be better advertised, as the cost of cable is exorbatant without adding more costs to the lineup. How about dropping channels not watched, 2 for 1, to add a chanel that would be watched??
How do I get to HBO for the preview? I punched in the channel and it says I have to subscribe to view it???
It is for On Demand only.
What I found out was, that Comcast unlike all the other cable networks who unlock their channels during their FREE Preview weeks (I've had both Direct-TV & Dish) limits you their "On Demand Only" where you can only see PAST episodes of series. I had no idea as a new customer as to THIS was how to gain access as its NOT ever explained .
What I also miss about the other two services is that they let you block out the channels or they gray out those channels you don't receive . I wish Comcast had that option.
Agree with you. Exorbatant rates and this should have been advertised. I just heard about it this morning. An email to Comcast customers would have been nice. But then again, Comcast has never been known for particularly good service, though their bills always arrive -- a few days before the pay date. One almost has to sit down and write a check and head for the PO as soon as the Comcast bill arrives.
