Digital Starter Channel Line Up

New customer.  I cannot find the channel line up for my subscription to Digital Starter.  When I go to http://www.comcast.com/Customers/Clu/ChannelLineup.ashx as suggested in this forum, I only see the listings for Digital Preferred and Digital Premium.  There is no listing for Digital Starter or any other tier.  Logging in or logging out and using my neighbor's address gave the same result---only Preferred and Premium visible on the website.

Basically, I am trying to find out the stations I am supposed to receive.  I believe that I am missing at least one station (346, TV Land) that I should be receiving.

General comment:  it should not be this hard to determine what you are paying for.

Re: Digital Starter Channel Line Up

Thank you.

Perhaps you know the answer to this question:  The links you gave indicate that I should be receiving TV Land (Channel 346).  When I tune to the channel on either of my two HD boxes, it says "Not Authorized."  This is the only missing station in my Starter packge from what I can determine---all other stations appear and have good clear pictures.

I chatted twice with Comcast about the missing station, but the techs on chat a) first denied that I should get the station and b) after being convinced that I should receive the station could not get it to appear.  They both completely reset my HD boxes remotely.  I also tried powering down/up the boxes.  Same problem:  Channel 346 says "Not Authorized."  The last chat person said that he would elevate the problem and someone would call me.  No call ever came.

It is clear to me that I am simply not being sent the signal for this station.  Any ideas on how to get this resolved?

What is your zip code?  Sometimes zap2it.com has more accurate information.

Re: Digital Starter Channel Line Up

I don't think that TV Land is in the Digital Starter Package. I agree that it's listed, but it's incorrect.  I had dropped down to Starter for 4 months late last year and found that TVLand wasn't included as a "live channel" even though all the published guides said that it was included.

As a "digital starter" customer, however, I was able to watch TVLand on-demand.  All their "new" programming is offered on-demand as well as extremely limited selection of other "old" shows.  The on-demand listings change often and they do tend to limit your selection.

FYI, as "Digital Starter" you also don't get TNT or TBS as "live channels".  Yet, they also have free access to on-demand shows. You just have to wait until the day after a program airs.

It is in my part of Central PA. It's even included with Digital Economy.
