Delayed Premium Channel Shows Air Time in HIGH DEFINITION.

Delayed Premium Channel Shows Air Time in HIGH DEFINITION.

Why can’t we watch most of our favorite Premium Channel HD shows at their normal air time. Last Week Tonight In HD normally airs at 21:00 PDT with any other service provider, but with Xfinity we have to wait until 23:30 PDT. Why do we have to wait longer to watch premium channel shows in HIGH DEFINITION?

I'm guessing you are on the West feed, whereas other providers may be using the East feed? It's not Comcast doing a delay, it's HBO having two separate feeds available.

Here in Chicago (CDT), it shows the next new episode at 10:02 pm on June 23.

HI @Turbo11

Thanks for posting to the Xfinity Forums. @andyross is correct. This is not something controlled by Comcast.
