Can we fix the American Horror Story franchise?

In the Stream App, the series is all over the place. Why are there several listings for it instead of it being normally listed like other series? There should only be one listing for American Horror Story with seasons 1-8.

seems database related question, moved to channels and programming.

Hello, MissDiagnostics! Thank you for reaching out to us! The American Horror Story has a unique name for each season (Coven, Asylum, Cult, Hotel, and etc), it's not positioned as Season 1, 2, 3 and etc. It's listed the same way On Demand on our cable boxes as well. We appreciate your feedback.

Re: Can we fix the American Horror Story franchise?

Hello,

Those are subtitles for each season, the series as a whole is still titled "American Horror Story" (nothing else).

If you're going to include these subtitles why not format it the way FOX/FX does, as one single series listing. The way you guys have it formatted as if they're spin-offs, reboots, etc., it's confusing and very unorganized.

(How the single listing should be formatted.)

American Horror Story
TV Series / 2011-

Season 8: Apocalypse (10)
Season 7: Cult (12)
Season 6: Roanoke (10)
Season 5: Hotel (12)
Season 4: Freak Show (13)
Season 3: Coven (13)
Season 2: Asylum (13)
Season 1: Murder House (12)

Re: Can we fix the American Horror Story franchise?

Well I tried months ago to tell the employees of Comcast...

(that run this forum and "dictates" what input that "paying customers" post, gets actually sent off and what gets ignored and discarded)

that their format is off and if the studios, production companies, and distributors aren't listing the content that "they own and put out" in the manner that Comcast is doing it, "FIX IT!" but I got shut down.

Honestly... it's fine, it's their platform, and they have every right to do as they please. If the feedback of "paying customers" isn't all that important to them, so be it. This is probably my last year of service with them, 2020 is an important year and for me, "anything and everything" that's been a constant negative in my life must go! I refuse to continue putting money in the pockets of people and companies that don't respect my opinions, my money, or time. There's too many other companies out there waiting to gain new clientele and $$$, than to be stuck in an endless situation that'll never change.

Re: Can we fix the American Horror Story franchise?

There seems to be a disconnect between reality and what some people expect from Comcast.

Many shows like Gold Rush, etc. are forever trying to create ways to make their shows show up "New" on cable. Most are just re-hashed parts of shows produced in the past. Some of my favorite shows watched the last few years are now moving to steaming services costing more money.

I have been on cable since 1972 when there few just a few dozen channels @ $25. per month. now 48 years later I pay $140. per month for 220+ channels. With inflation that's a good deal. As a matter of principal I refuse to pay more for something I used to get included here.

I will just wait until the owner's of these shows come to their senses and offer the show on cable or OTA.

Re: Can we fix the American Horror Story franchise?

There's no disconnect, people are tired of dumping money into money pits with no returns, that's simple. Cable is dying and streaming is rising because there's better equipment/technology out today, that can accomplish the same thing better and on a greater scale. The complaints you see here and there are fixed 10x faster via OTA updates because all streaming companies have to do is update their apps compared to Comcast. Comcast is running on legacy tech that is dated and failing everyday to the point their trying to acquire different companies here and there to catch up to the competition and also resolve issues that can be easily fixed using a different engine.

The problem isn't only with the equipment, its also with the relationship that the customers are having and have had for years with Comcast itself. You and I already had this conversation before about how the staff on here "not all", treats the customers like trash and are quick to move, delete, or ignore important posts regarding the user's experience and also block users or ban certain comments. Any negative feedback left about our service experiences either gets reflected or somehow the company ends up getting defended instead of the consumer, NOT ALL FEEDBACK IS SUPPOSED TO BE POSITIVE.

This post was simply about the listing lineup for on demand, stream app, and tv remote app being unorganized and confusing compared to the official listing of the series from 20th Century Fox. If asking our provider Comcast (who makes billions a year) to fix or readjust something so simple, small, and minute that isn't needed and is only causing confusion is too much for them to handle, then we seriously have a problem now.

Never once in any of my posts you commented under "friend", that pricing is a concern for me because I can't afford it. What you will hear me say or type... the pricing just doesn't add up no matter what tier you get! The lack of support will still be the same and the equipment will still be outdated compared to streaming platforms that'll allow you to use any equipment you want, doesn't need to come to your home to install anything, your services can be on-the-go, and bugs/mockups can be fixed in a timely manner.
