I watched Boomerang channel, today. Now I’m trying to watch tonight, and it’s gone. What’s happened to it???
Per your February statement, April 10, 2018 was the last day for Boomerang as part of Comcast's lineup
Very sad that comcast (Xfinity) the Largest Cable company in the U.S. doesn't carry the Boomerang in all markets and now it sounds like they are removing in the markets that did carry Boomerang. Was out West recently and watching on "Cox"
cable. Loved watching old cartoons. Kids will never know who Bugs Bunny is.
Sorry for the long time between emails. I rarely check this. Ty for the reply informing me about Boomerang. Any chance Comcast will ever get it back?
Hi Ghart08 -- We do not have any plans to bring Boomerang back at this time.
I am 100% of the belief that Comcast really doesn't care what any of their customers think. All they care about is getting those payments every month so they can do ridiculous things like bidding on FOX. As much as I loathe Disney I hope they outbid Comcast for no other reason than they don't deserve to own anything else they can screw up. As soon as FIOS becomes available in my area it's sayonara.
I'm dissapointed, to say the least, by the fact that when I picked my channel package a few weeks ago, it had boomerang listed as one of the included channels. Now that I have had my service installed, your employees came out a week ago and got me setup for internet, TV, and phone service through you, I have found that it actually isn't part of my package and apparently hasn't been for 9 months. I still have the printed channel lineup sheet and it says Boom, right on it, with the Cartoon Network logo, CN. It's not a deal breaker, but for the incredible, vast amount of garbage channels included, I'd be willing to trade several hundred of them for Boomerang.
It should have been a HUGE clue to me that one of the gentleman that came out here to install my service noticed I was switching from DirecTV, and asked me why I was switching, and told me he had DirecTV himself. My service was much better with DirecTV, the TV interface was much better, more convenient and intuitive, and didn't randomly freeze for 30 seconds or so at least a couple times a day while watching a show. If the DSL internet speed wasn't so incredibly terrible for me at my location, I'd still be using AT&T for my internet, phone, and TV (DirecTV is owned by AT&T).
In order to pay an affordable price, I need to bundle all 3 services together, which means I can't use Comcast for internet and DirecTV for my TV, Unfortunately.
It's not like you're going to bring back Boomerang just because I want it as a customer of yours, but I'm still letting you know I would very much prefer that you carried it. That's my customer feedback. Thank you.

I talked with a Comcast person and they said they are in the process of getting boomerang back.
Sorry,
Comcast has previously said they have no plans to bring the channel back within the market areas it was previously available. View this topic:

Boomerang appears to have gone viral, article
The channel appears to be dead ???

Actually RadTV, Boomerang it’s not dead . It’s only dead on Xfinity Comcast as they stopped carrying the channel but Dish has been carrying the channel all this time and still has programming every single day.
Thank you for the clarification. I do see that now. Dish channel 175. If comcast is no longer carrying the channel then it must be a contract Issue? I have tried to get boomerang in my area for years but unfortunately the channel was never added.
if you are an amazon prime subscriber the app is now available on the x1 cable boxes and you can still watch Boomerang that way.
Is it fully free with Prime, or just a link to their subscription service? For example, there is a Roku app, but it requires it's own monthly fee and/or a cable/satellite service with the network.
