Please add my request/demand for Comcast to add the ACC Network. I have been a loyal customer of Comcast since 1988!!! I have spent way too much time on the phone/internet/this forum etc trying to get this issue resolved 😡 (or just trying to get any information on the subject). I pay an exorbitant amount of money for my monthly bill as I have every/all packages that you offer. I am an almunus of Virginia Tech and a huge Hokies/ACC fan. I live in PA and as you know there is an ACC school in PA (PITT) as well. I currently get all the Big Ten Networks(alumnus of PSU as well but don't watch it except for wrestling), SEC Networks and even the PAC 12 Network! The fact that you have not come to an agreement with ESPN for the ACC Network is absolutely ridiculous. The Network launched yesterday and still nothing. Please do not talk to me about negotiations- I'm an attorney and I know all about it. At this point I simply want results! Right now I'm on my PC and I'm looking at YouTube TV. The first network I see under SPORTS is the ACC Network👏 I'm done fooling around with this nonsense. My next call will be to Comcast to cancel my service. I'm sure once I drop everything except internet <Edited>. Bottom line: if the ACC Network is not available by Saturday August 31 for the game between my Hokies and Boston College, I will be dropping everything. It's either DirectTV (which will take some time) or switch my internet provider and finally cut the cord and go with YouTube TV. After all the calls I've made, just having to take the time to post this is absurd! <Edited> Best regards
I have read on this forum that posters have been told that they can expect to get the ACC by employees of Comcast.
Sorry about that. Hit the button too early.
I have been told that employees are being told that for now it will not be added.
So be careful how you choose. In any case I spoke to an agent who said withdrawal penalties are null and void if you keep one of the three triple play services.
I have been a customer for 10 painful years and not having ACC Network is the icing on the cake for me to switch my internet/cable provider. ACC football and Basketball is huge in the metro Atlanta area and this is ridicuolous Xfinity still has not made a deal. @ComcastCares
Trying to get a straight answer about when there will be a resolution to the negotiations to provide the ACC Network. On the phone I was told "be patient, things are in the works", but in chats I got the brush off.
We want the product and if you can't/won't provide it, lots of folks will leave to find it.
I have called numerous times and each time the response I get is "we do not offer it at this time".
My response is always "I will need to switch to another provider if Comcast does not offer the ACCN by 8/29". At that point they simply tell me to let them know if I want to cancel. I really do not think Comcast cares one bit if we start to leave or not, I can tell in their response to me. Someday, hopefully soon, there will be a 5G network that will provide everything I need and then it's no more cable. For now it will be Youtube TV for the ACC ang Big10 networks come 8/29.
We have called Comcast HQ <Edited> to request ACCN be offered in VA. Call btw 9-5 M-F. There are two menu options, one being corporate directory. Choose this; and then it's 'customer service' or such, and a real person answers. Be prepared w/your acc't #, address, name. The rep is civil, helpful, and takes your request and info. We were told that at this time comcast has no plans to offer ACC Network, but, if there's sufficient demand, that could change. You can also write <Edited>. Nobody wants to pay Hulu or YouTube $45plus on top of Comcast charges.
Comcast let their loyal customers hang in the wind. They knew all along they were not getting the ACCN. This is how you treat loyal people who have been with you for a long time. Waited too long to get Fios. Install will not be in time for the game.
Hokie fans are going to miss the A J Dillon Heisman trophy show. So sad.
Will have to go to a local bar to have a few Sam Adams and watch the Eagles pound the Hokies.
I'm sure that no one at a decision making level is reading them. Right now there seem to be two possible scenarios. Either the negotiators are playing hardball with Disney/ESPN and don’t think there will be any downside to playing a waiting game in which case they will add it sometime over the next couple of weeks, or xfinity doesn’t really plan to add the ACC network, but doesn’t want to publicly say so. I don’t think they really understand that when a customer switches, it’s personal to the customer and they aren’t getting that customer back. Or perhaps they just don’t care.
Please help me understand this "solution" you posted. Will my $300 / month subscription (which includes all possible sports package add-ons you offer) allow me to watch the Clemson vs Georgia Tech football game on Thursday, Aug 29? The YouTube instructions you provide seem to indicate yes, but I'm starting to think that's not the case. It looks to me like I need to pay for a streaming service subscription like YouTube TV or Hulu, and then need to watch it on a computer or a device that will stream that service to my television.
Is this correct? Please clarify.

This is precisely the case. Comcast thinks customers will stick with them for internet service while we pay thru the nose for it ... and have to add Hulu LIVE, YouTubeTV, or something else for live TV. I don't know how any Comcast customer won't be mad enough so as not to give them ONE MORE DOLLAR <Edited>. I'll be switching services to the competitor that Comcast edits OUT of my posts, even though their internet installs are 18 DAYS behind in my area; due to ACC fans moving from Comcast.
What is Comcast's mission concerning customer programing? Does Comcast value customers' needs? Does Comcast value profit over customers' satisfaction with product? It appears Comcast does not listen to the high numbers of customers who want ACCNetwork. Decide which path Comcast will follow in the future. The answers to my questions will determine Comcast's value to customers.
Conglomerate and time and time again shows where it's priorities are. They have no business calling themselves a service provider when they are in fact a non- service provider. They send mass emails out trying to save face for the recent outages but good luck getting answers about the accn which should be a non- brainer. I think they have totally under estimated how much this has already upset customers even if they were to add the network prior to the first game on 8/29
