cancelled my cable, still have a bill

cancelled my cable, still have a bill

I cancelled my Comcast cable and internet and returned all my equipment last week on April 18, 2018. I just logged into my account to View my bill and make sure there were no surprises and it had my bill ready for May. Why am I being charged when I no longer have a cable and internet service??

It sounds as though the bill had already been generated either just before April 18th or on or the next day.  What is the date on the bill [not the due date]?

I’m not sure how to find that. I use the E-bill system, and all I see is the due date which is May 5.

Log back into My Account and look at the bill.
