Has anyone done a price comparasion between Xfinity and DirecTV? It is hard as so many of the fees and taxes are bascially unknown until you get your first billing, and it doesn't help that the prices for both services creep up over the life of your contract. Having said all that it appears that there can be a substantial savings over 2 years if you play them off of one another. Go 2 years with Xfinity and then switch to DirecTV for two years. You get the introductory pricing that way but it is a pain to switch services. I can't get DirecTV phone and internet in my area so would need to keep those on Xfinity, but it appears that even with that, if I switch to DirecTV for TV, I can save about $80 a month, which is about $1,900 over a two year period. Has anyone else tried to calculate this out? What results do you get?
I bought a roku for 30$ and now have Direct TV NOW through it. It's the same as Direct TV only it's streaming.. I pay about 70$ for my package but there are cheaper ones, think the least expensive one is 35 or so.
