I am about to direct leave comcast and inform the BBB about this incident.
My self-setup failed due to missing connection, I waited 1hour in the hotline and tried each single coax-outlet in the apartment.
- The hotline promised to not charge the $59 fee- in case its related to the apartment complex infrastructure.
Root-cause: Finally the technician replaced the coax-splitter in the central electrical-room, and the problem was solved. He also promised to ne be charged.
If this fee does not get waived directly, I will cancel my service and go to a simple reliable DSL-provider without fraudulent and unreliable statements.
Fix it asap - or you will lose directly a new customer and lot of revenue...
