Last month I updated my DVR and adapter equipment from Comcast – but not the modem. I prefer my own.
This month I received the bill with a modem rental added to the bill. Comcast added the modem and now I can’t get them to remove it from the billing. Although I filed a complaint, in the meantime I have to pay for a non-existent modem while I wait thirty days for the appeal to be processed. Furthermore, I can’t cancel my account until I provide Comcast with the modem that I don’t have.
