Refund on my bill

I have not had a t.v. since June 21st. I am in the process of getting a new t.v. anyway, I spoke with two different customer service people who both said they would adjust the bill. My bill was not adjusted, but I paid it anyway so it would not be late. I would like my bill to be adjusted for next month, since I have no t.v. and have not been using cable.
