Same issue. Was paying $39.99 till September 20th when my promo expired. I then called and was offered $46 and change. Then the bill came and it was almost double. I can't afford $88 a month for Internet. So I called back and asked why my bill was $88 instead of $46. I was told that there was no such promo rate and that the person I spoke to prior to my last promo expiring did nothing to my account to reflect that rate (even though I asked that rep to clarify the rate would be $46 several times. She even asked me to wait while she checked to see if there were any other better promo rates). Today, I got a rate of $75. Yea, can't afford that either for Internet in a one person household.
