Netflix duplicate billing

I am charged for Netflix $12.99 on my bill each month as a separate Service Provider. This month I switched to automatic billing, it went through. A few days later a separate odd charge showed up for $12.99 and it was paid! I contacted the Chat (40min's) they said it was for Netflix and they would return it. They didn't. I contacted Chat customer service again and after (over 1hr) a supervisor said, Comcast bills Netflix as a courtesy, I need to call them for the refund. I called Netflix, they were only paid once! So where did the other charge go? I cancelled Netflix because I Do Not want to be in this situation again! I spoke to billing on the phone afterwards and he couldn't understand what I meant by charged twice? Is this making sense to anyone else? I can't stay with this company anymore, it's crazy!
