Limited basic service and broadcast fee correct?

If I have the limited basic service ($14.95), must I also pay a $10 broadcast fee? In otherwords, is the absolutely bottom tier of TV $24.95? Thanks-

Re: Limited basic service and broadcast fee correct?

Hello flummoxing. We appreciate you visiting and posting on our Forums. The Broadcast TV Fee is billed on all levels of the Xfinity TV service. The Broadcast TV Fee is an itemized charge that recovers a portion of the costs of re-transmitting broadcast television signals. Broadcast stations have the right to charge for their signals, and cable providers like Comcast end up paying substantial fees in order to carry them. If you have any other questions regarding your bill, I'd be happy to assist. Feel free to reach out to me via private message and include your full name if you need further assistance.
