I haven't had a contract in around a year and have noticed that my bill has been going up

When I renewed my contract more than 2 years ago I went and got a DVR (which I have yet to use to record anything on) as part of my package with 2 smaller boxes for the other tv's in my apartment that I share with my parents.  since the contract ended sometime late in 2018 or early 2019 I've noticed that my bill has gone up to the point that I am now paying around $100 more per month than I had been under the contract and I would like to know why.

I don't need a DVR so I'd like to know changing the service to reflect the fact I want to continue with the triple play with the extra phone line but without the DVR.  what else can I do to reduce my cost?
