False promises - always happens with XFinity

I have been promised that I should be paying only 26$ for another year, but after 6 months in service, I got additional 6$ charges for no reason, when I called customer care service, they said one of the promotions is over by 6 months. So bill got increased to 32$ now. Why this is the been case with XFinity, don’t you have any process or anything ? You guys find a way to trap customers . Last time I moved out of XFinity just bcz This kind of issues, now it’s started again this time. I am really tired of calling customer care.

If you compare this bill to last month's bill you can see what changed. If you did not go off special pricing period (not the contract period length), the cost moves to regular price.
Taxes, fees, can change any time.

This is the same for any utility company. You stop paying and you may lose service and will owe late fees.

When you first sign on you are ussually getting special lower price offer. That price is never renewable. If you continue on it goes to regular pricing which most of us have paid for decades.

If you call the Comcast number, or go to a service center, to upgrade, downgrade, or get additional services offered, you may get some discount on regular price for a new period. That goes to regular pricing after any new offers expire.

For you information, I haven’t even completed 1 year with Comcast, this is my 5th months. And also someone called and gave me promotions and she promised me that it’s valid for one year, but everything got changed after few months, when I called customer care, they said this is going to be your rate, not matter what promotions provided before, then why did someone call me and gave this promotion. Better your process or you will lose lot of customers for sure
