Fourth time having a major issue with the billing portal.
One of the other times, my payment just never was processed, and then I got a late fee.
Another time, a charge was run TWICE with my bank. When I contacted Comcast via chat, the agent told me one charge would drop off and not to worry about it.
It did not. I have to reverse the charge via my bank. And I had overdraft fees as a result.
This time, I scheduled my payment for 1/11. Guess what? They ran it today.
Maybe this one WILL actually drop off...my confidence is low since the billing portal has so many problems. I feel like contacting customer service will just result in someone reassuring me, and incorrectly, since prior chats have not been successful in addressing the problem.
