Does this happen at home too while near your home wifi router? what you describe is a failure of your phone to keep or stay connected to your wifi.

you mentioned that the Wi-Fi cut off. What makes you think the Wi-Fi is cutting off itself?jg

do you get an error message from the stream app? live linear channels  requires that you are on the home internet. I did a test watching TV land with iPhone. Started watching live, changed wifi to off and it continued playing for 2-3 minutes then switched to tvgo version of TVland (in HD no less, wonder why mine is not in HD on the TV). no error or loss of wifi.

When I have connection issues with my smartphone, I check its network settings to be sure I am still connected to my gateway's SSID.

Re: XFINITY TV STREAM

Thank you for that information goldengirl12, I can look into this for you. Can you please send me a private message with your full street address, account number, and the name on the account? I will make sure your settings are correct so that they don’t read your location as Detroit.

I see that you subscribe to 100MB Internet service but recently ran 2 speed tests at http://speedtest.xfinity.com.  One of them gave you 115Mbps (good) while the other gave you about 29Mbps (not good). If for that 2nd test, you were close enough to your modem for good connectivity, that would point to slow internet issues.

You can find troubleshooting tips for slow internet here: https://www.xfinity.com/support/internet/troubleshooting-your-connection/

This doesn't appear to be specific/related to the Stream app, rather your Internet service.

Best,
ComcastDan
