XFINITY Home app upfate

Updated the app on my iPad mini and now the app doesn't work at all, it won't even open!

Me too. Updated on my iPad2 and iPhone. Phone is fine, iPad crashes. Even deleted and reinstalled. Not working at all

Hi,

 

Can you please try turning your device into portrait mode? There's an issue where the login information isn't visible on the screen in landscape mode. It's an iOS 8 issue and we have a fix, but it's not in the app store yet.

A new version of the app including a fix for this issue is now available from the App Store. Please install, and let us know if you're still experiencing any issues.

My app won't open on my IPhone. Does nothing when I push to open. I recently updated it.

I pulled up your account and see successful sign ins & activity in the Xfinity Home app since you posted.  Are you still experiencing this issue?

Yes. I still can't open the app from my iPhone. I can open it from my iPad and view the cameras but the phones app won't even open.

Hi Billmcgough3 - 

 

Here are some steps to try: 

  • Restart the app (Close the app and open it again.)
  • Restart your device (Turn your device off and back on.)
  • Check for iOS updates (I know you said you recently updated the app, but have you updated your phone's operating system?)
  • Install another app from the App Store (Try installing a different app that you don't have on your device. Find a free app from the App Store & download using the same Apple ID that you used to download the Xfinity Home app.)
  • Delete and reinstall the app.

 

Please let me know if these steps resolve your issue.  If not, we can move forward with more troubleshooting.
