Using Home App on a smartphone to view live feed

Please help.. I was advised today by a XFINITY rep.  That using the Home App on your smartphone.  Doesn't show you the same information as logging into a computer.  Isn't a smartphone a computer?  Why would they not show the same information? I am wanting to know why I can't.  And how I can view all my recorded clips in my Home App on my smartphone? Not everyone has access to a computer.

Re: Using Home App on a smartphone to view live feed

You can view your recorded clips by selecting the camera that you want to view.  From there...

- If you have 24/7 Video Recording service (https://www.xfinity.com/home-security/video-recording.html), you will see a list of motion events.  Selecting any of the motion events will play that saved video clip.

- If you do not have 24/7 Video Recording service, you can view any saved video clips in the Activity section of the app.  Here is more information on how to automate your camera to take pictures or video clips (https://www.xfinity.com/support/home-control/manage-create-rules-help/).

I hope this helps to address your question.
