Tv app on iPad stopped working

After the latest update on the iPad app the TV app will not downloaf any of my shows from my dvr. It say "could not create download". It also appears that background downloading is dead also. I am unable to use the app at all when I travel. Just in time for the new TV season to start.

I just downloaded on iPad and iPad mini 2 without a problem. However after install of news app it wouild not show anything but recordings. I went to 'gear' settings and logged out, uninstalled the app and reinstalled it and logged back on and that fixed it for me.
