Can you confirm what Android model and software version you are using?
Was it upgraded recently, maybe coinciding with your issue?
Also, confirm the version of TV Stream you have installed.
Have you tried uninstalling/re-installing the app?

My Moto G4 Play phone is running Android 6.0.1.
I just tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but it didn't fix the problem. Any other suggestions would be most welcome!
is your device rooted? if so the certificate for security would possibly be invalid.
No - not rooted.
you may need to work with the tech services as the phone firmware is apparently reporting that you have an HDMI connected or streaming connected device to your phone.
