Call forwarding to the mobile app help

Hi everyone i use the xfinity connect app on my android app and I turn on the call forwarding feature to buzz in people to my apartment building. I turn on the forwarding to the mobile app and when they use the box downstairs to call our house phone to buzz them in, my app opens up and rings. (which is what i want to happen)

 

My problem is that my roommates iphone app does not ring like mine. does anyone know if this is just an android app feature that iphone apps cant do or is it something else?

yes he is. he is logged into the app with my account info (the account holder)

Djskype, is he using the same username you are using? If not, I recommend making sure the advanced call forwarding settings are identical.
